Makayla Peterson, Shatir Hall and Taliah Cintron of the Wilmington Track Club won medals, including three golds, at the USA Track & Field National Youth Indoor Championships on Saturday and Sunday at Proviso West High near Chicago.

Cintron won both the 55-meter hurdles (9.89 seconds) and 40-meter dash (1:06.62) in the girls 11-12-year-old division. She also took fourth in the long jump (3.57 meters). In that same age division, Peterson was third in the 1,500 (personal best 5:33.47) and fourth in the 800 (2:46.75). Hall, competing in the boys 8-and-under division, won the long jump (2.51 meters), took second in the 400 (1:23.03) and placed third in the 200 (37.59).
