Williams, Craft win middle school portion of Fun Run

The Battle of Olustee 5K and Blue-Grey Fun Run were part of the recent festivities in Lake City.

Columbia High runner Brandon Scott won the 5K on Feb. 9 with a personal best 17:19.61. His Columbia teammate Jason Harrison came in second with a time of 18:57.10.

Other CHS boys from the cross country team who ran were Max Murphy, Marcus Vallejo and Dillon Snook.

Columbia girls and middle school team runners who

participated were Abby Williams (first in her age group), Meghan Collins

(second), Kelli York (second), Ashlyn Martin (third),

Fawn Smith (third),

Nicole Morse and Colleen Heeky.

Michael Craft and Williams were the overall winners for the Fun Run on Feb. 16, with Craft heading up the Boys 13-14 age group and Williams tops in the Girls 11-12.

Denis Lacayo was second in the Boys 13-14 and Dakota Beadles was third. Caitlin Congi won the Girls 13-14 with Mirissa Stephens in

second and Holly Boris in third.

Charly Coogin was

second in the Girls 11-12 and Martin was third. Dillan Van Vleck won the Boys 11-12 with Braiden Thomas in

second and Wyatt Snook in third.

Nicole Morse won the Girls 9-10 with Emma Tucker in second and Brittney Lee in third. The boys winner was Tyler Boris, followed by Cody Stucker and Romaldo Perez.

Bridget Morse won the Girls 7-8, with Brandy Wachua second and Savannah Amparo third. Joshua Lewis won the Boys 7-8 with Kalin Timmons second and Will Ackerman third.

Shelby Raulerson won the Girls 5-6 with Regan Morse in second and Natalie Laywell in third. Derek Johnson won the Boys 5-5 with Devin Johnson in second and Finn Tucker in third.

Siena Adams won the Girls 4-and-under with Isabella Martin in second and Kaitlynn Glass in third.
