We came out to the Annual Helvetia Road Run to catch the 7:30am start of the Kid's Run and watch the 10K and Half Marathon.

To our surprise two high schools were out in full force with their running clubs who had been training for the Helvetia. Liberty High School and Wilsonville. Besides just the students they've included teachers and parents in their club.

Every high school should do this.

The highlight was watching some fast girls in the 10K and Half. The first one through was 12year old Alexis Kebbe from Beaverton as the 2nd female runner to finish in a time of 43:56. Hannah Wolfe who is 13 was the 10th female runner in 47:46. In the Half Marathon 13 year old Ember Stratton from Portland was the 7th femail runner in 1:32.44. Way to go girls!
