The Tri-City Relays track club won the AAU Area 7 national qualifying meet in Charlotte this past weekend, and 77 members of the club qualified for the AAU Junior Olympics that will be held July 29-Aug. 4 in Houston. Four youngsters took first place in at least three events: Isis Brooks, Dysaun Razzak, Jamison Waugh and Ija Mumford. Mumford's 12-foot-6 long jump ranks her second in the nation among 8-year-olds. Razzak is ranked No. 1 in the nation in the 100, 200 and 400 meters among 12-year-old boys.
