* The 3rd Annual Coca-Cola National High School Hall of Fame Classic will be held on Saturday at the New Balance Track & Field Center at the Armory beginning at 9 a.m. The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships will be held Friday beginning at 6 p.m. The Public Schools Athletic League Borough Championships, originally scheduled for this past Saturday but postponed due to the snowstorm, will be held Sunday and Monday. The Bronx and Queens will take place Sunday, with Brooklyn and Manhattan on Monday, each day starting at 1:30 p.m.

*A contingent of 11 Native American athletes, who will be competing in the USA Cross Country Championships this weekend at Van Cortlandt Park, will be hosted by the Armory Saturday afternoon. They will be joined by two coaches and Kelly Concho, Program Director of Wings of America, which selects the national team. The group will enjoy the meet and lunch, and tour the National Track & Field Hall of Fame. The Wings of America team has won an unprecedented 16 national junior team titles since 1988.

*Among the athletes expected to compete in the Coca-Cola National High School Hall of Fame Classic are:

*Lionel Williams of St. Peter?s, who set a Meet Record at the CHSAA Indoor Championships in the 600 Meters (1:20.04) and also won the 300 Meters (34.88), earning him Outstanding Male Track Performer honors. *Century Williams, a sophomore at St. John?s Prep, who set a Meet Record at the CHSAA Indoor Championships in the 1000 Meters, clocking 2:57.56. *Seleena Abdur-Rashed of Bishop Loughlin, who set the Meet Record for the Girls 55 Meter Hurdles at 8.28 at the CHSAA Indoor Championships. *Rebecca Power of Archbishop Molloy, who set a Meet Record of 9-6 in the Pole Vault at the CHSAA meet and also won the Shot Put at 32-7 ?. *Vito Cannavo of Mnsg. Farrell, who took the 1600 Meters at the CHSAA Indoor Championships (4:24.03) and won the Mile at the Archbishop Molloy Stanner Games (4:21.24). *Mike Murphy of St. Joseph by the Sea, winner of both the 55 Meters (6.64) and 55 Meter Hurdles (7.80) at the CHSAA Indoor Championships. *Ryan McDermott of Chaminade, winner of the 3200 Meters at the Citibank Hispanic Games in 9:31.00. *Jeff Carbonella of Mnsg. Farrell, who won the 1000 Meters at the CHSAA Indoor Championships in 2:31.75 and will attend Princeton in the fall. *Dan Lewis of Mnsg. Farrell, who took the 3200 Meters at the CHSAA Indoor Championships in 9:16.60 and the Two Mile Run at the Bishop Loughlin Games in 9:29.32.

*The CSTV webcast of the New Balance Collegiate Invitational was such a success that there will be two or three more during the remainder of the indoor season.
