The GoRun Ride 3 is the latest update to Skechers most versatile running shoe. While fairly straight-forward, the upper adopts some more technical aspects to aid performance and improve the fit. A stiff outer mesh with an incorporated saddle fits well, while adding some structure and protection to the foot.

Stretch mesh over the toes makes the shoe move better with the foot to unify the shoe’s performance. The midsole has been retooled, now a broader flared design that puts a healthy chunk of foam between the runner and the road, still with four millimeter geometry, though little structure impedes the foot’s motion through the gait, and the cushioning and flexibility is noticeable. The outersole is two things: one, largely nonexistant with toughened EVA doing double duty, and two, 10 round dots of rubber and a flared toe-cap, all textured for their purpose, are arranged on the perimeter, providing better than average grip. The result is a light, flexible shoe, for faster running.
Testers:“The upper flexes nicely without folding and causing pressure spots. They have a very squishy midsole that absorbs a lot of shock and protects from whatever is underfoot.”
