The Blessed to Run track team is sending 25 athletes to regional competition this weekend at Cedarville College in Springfield, Ohio.  Nine are going as champions after competition in the districts at Independence High School.   Angelo Grose took first place in the bantam 100 and 200 meters and long jump.  Lillian Weeks took first in the girls bantam 1,500 meter run.  Tresuan Windham took first in the boys midget 200 meters.  He also helped the team of Alamar Grose, Keandre Marlow and Khiren Willis take first in the 4x100 meter relay.  Alaya Grose won the girls midget 100 and 200 meters.  Ronnie Carter was first in the boys youth 100 and 200 meters.  Ed Wigton won both the young men's 800 and 1,500 meters. 

The top five placers at regionals will advance to nationals the week of July 23 through 29 at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland.
