HUMBLE, Texas --Chalk up All-American track and field honors for Staten Island runner Michael Rodriguez-King, a fifth-grader at Sacred Heart elementary school in West Brighton.

The youngster captured his second silver medal in two days, claiming second place during the 1,500-meter run for 9-10-year-olds at the USATF Junior Olympics at Turner Stadium.

On Saturday, he finished second in the 800 with a time of 2:25.89.
