Several of the Sheboygan area's best athletes took their talents to the next level and placed in the top three at the Wisconsin State Hershey Youth Track Meet on June 26 in West Allis.

For the girls, Mary Schmidt of Sheboygan placed third in the 50-yard dash (7.85) in the 9-10 age group, Emily Koehler of Sheboygan took third in the 200 (32.85) in 9-10, Anya Athan of Sheboygan took second in the 100 (14.24) in 11-12, Erykah Gort of Sheboygan took first in the 200 (29.71) in 11-12, the Sheboygan 400 relay (1:02.58) of Athan, Gort, Charlotte Andreasen and Brooklyn Landgraf took second in 11-12, Bridget Murphy of Sheboygan took first in the long jump (709.50) in 11-12 and Jenna Zelm of Sheboygan took first in the softball throw in 11-12.

For the boys, Nick Rudolph of Kohler took third in the 100 (12.69) in 13-14, Trevor Damkot of Sheboygan took second in the 1,600 (5:19.63) in 13-14, the Kohler 4x100 relay (53.83) of Andrew Bryce, Will Hapeman, Ben Madigan and Rudolph took first in 13-14, Rudolph won the long jump (804.75) in 13-14 and Hapeman placed third in the softball throw in 13-14.
