Roadrunners show off medals, team trophy.

The Roadrunners competed at the Run with the Panthers 5k held at the Promenade shops at Dos Lagos coming away with the team title and Claire Graves setting a new course record for women by going sub 18 with a 17:57 5k. The Roarunners went against the host club Corona Panthers, several HS teams including Corona HS, and the South Orange County Wildcats among all others.

The A team won by over 2 minutes per runner with the top 5 scorers on the the team scoring with a 17:37 average. Gengyz Martinez finished 2nd overall despite no warm up by jumping out of the car and to the starting line running 16:24. Phillip Rocha (was 5th overall and winner of the 11-12 age group running a PR of 16:44. Austin Tamagno ran a PR to finish 7th overall and 3rd in the13-14- age group. Trevor Capestany placed 12th overall running 17:36. Claire Graves was the 5th scoring runner going sub 18 for the first time in her career with 17:57. Zafir Abou Zamzam was 16th overall with 18:25 to take 2nd in the 11-12 age group. Jonathan Jimenez ran 18:25 for 18th and a PR. Noah Tamagno finished third in his 9-10 age group for 36th and 20:02. Connor Taylor ran a PR for 4th in his age group and a PR of 20:17. Danny Castro won his age group with 22:06.

The Bteam had several winners with Alexa Zamora running a PR of 20:37 to take first in the 12-13 age group. Kessy Uribes placed 2nd in the 10-11 age group with a PR of 21:52. Tyler Adame ran a PR of 22:14. Chris Isaaces ran a PR of 22:14. Morgan Taylor finished third in the 9-10 age group with a PR of 23:08. Olivia Paez was second in the age group with 21:56 or a Big PR. Natalie Penaloza ran a PR and finished 4th in same age group with 23:17. Tannya Uribes finished third in her age group.
