Pembroke High School indoor track standouts Berkeley Hall, Teresa Fatemi, Becky Stoyle, and Michelle Coate placed fourth in the 4x200-meter relays Friday night at the MIAA All-State Track and Field Championships, qualifying for this Friday's New England Track and Field Championships.

The Pembroke 4x200 team finished with a time of 1:46.11, which is a new school record. It tops last week's mark and previous school record of 1:46.64.

Hall also qualified for New Englands in the long jump and the 55-meter hurdles. Seeded sixth in the 55 hurdles, Hall ran a personal best time of 8.41 in her fourth-place finish. But all eyes were on the girls' long jump event as Hall, Triton's Deanna Latham, who beat Hall last week in the long jump, and Newton North freshman Carla Forbes were the top three seeds. (Latham was seeded first, Forbes was seeded second, and Hall was seeded third).

Friday night, Forbes won the long jump at 18 feet, 8 3/4 inches, Hall placed second at 18-7 3/4, and Latham came in third at 18-7 1/2.
