Nick Freitag of Bellevue ran to a pair of first-place finishes at the Hershey's Wisconsin Track and Field Meet on June 26 in West Allis.
Freitag, competing in the boys 13-14 age group, won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:13.10 and the 1,600-yard run with a time of 4:46.16.
Also winning an event was Jennifer Timm of De Pere. Timm, competing in the girls 13-14 age group, won the softball throw with a toss of 152-5. Last year, Timm won the softball throw in the 11-12 age group with a distance of 150-0.
Nathan Holly of Ashwaubenon recorded a pair of second-place finishes in the boys 11-12 age group by posting times of 13.54 in the 100-meter dash and 28.87 in the 200-meter dash.
Other multiple-place winners were Courtney Grams of Luxemburg and Mya Jacques of Green Bay. Grams, competing in the girls 13-14 age division, finished third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.00 and fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.65. Jacques, participating in the girls' 9-10 age category, placed second in the softball throw with a distance of 94-00 and fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 15.46.
Lucas Bukowski of Green Bay added a third-place finish in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:17.01. He was a competitor in the boys 9-10 age group.
Other area participants in the girls division were Kaitlyn Leiden of Green Bay, Audrey Sladek of De Pere and Emily Ziegler of Green Bay.
Leiden placed second in the 100-meter dash for 11-12-year-olds with 14.50, while Sladek finished sixth in the standing long jump for ages 9-10 with a leap of 5-2¼. Ziegler, competing in the 11-12 age group, ranked seventh in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:17.93.
The lone area relay team to place was the Luxemburg quartet of Nathan Giachino, Travis Kinnard, Jake Shefchik and Bryce Tekulve. The group finished third in the 400-meter relay for ages 11-12 with a time of 58.94.
