Stey'ce McNeil, a 13-year-old from Sicklerville, is set to compete in the AAU Junior Olympics in track and field after a strong performance last week at the East Coast Invitational at Duke University.

McNeil was the anchor runner for the Cambria Youth Association (Philadelphia) team that won the 4x800 relay in the 13-14 girls' bracket at the event in Durham, N.C.

McNeil, who is entering 8th grade at Winslow Middle School, also was the anchor runner for the 4x400 relay team that finished second. McNeil also placed 8th in the 400 meters in a time of 59 seconds.

McNeil will compete this week at the AAU Junior Olympics in Knoxville, Tenn., in the 400 meters and 800 meters as well as running anchor for the Cambria team in the 4x800 relay.
