Congratulations to Levonna Perry who just broke the 1500 national record AAU Primary Nationals. 5:54 age 7 also 1st in the 800 and 6th in the 400.

Levonna Perry is a the fastest 7 year old on the planet. The track star started running track with Houston Visions Track Club at the age of 4. Competing at the Primary AAU Junior Olympic Games in Houston she won both the 400 meter dash and 800 meter run with times of 1.34 and 3:27.15. The following year at age 5 she competed and won the 400 meter dash with a time of 1.20 and the 1500 meter dash with a time of 6:37. Levonna went on to compete at the district meet making it to regionals in both the 800 meter run with a time of 3:00 and 1500 meter run with a time of 6:15.

Competing at the regional meet Levonna Perry made the top 6 and went on to compete in the AAU Junior Olympic Games in VA 2015 summer games at age 5. Although Levonna did not place she is back to compete again faster and more determined! Levonna now 7 years old just competed at the AAU District meet in Houston Texas placing 5th in the 400 time of 1.19 (she wasn't too excited about this because her fastest time is a 1.10) 1st in the 800m with a time of 2:56 (fastest time 2:50) and 1st in the 1500m with her best time ever of 5:58! This 6 year old has worked hard and is determined to place top 8 at the AAU Junior Olympic Games coming up in Houston, Texas.  She is truly an athlete that you don't want to miss!
