The Hickory Creek Track and Field athletes participated in the IESA state competition in Peoria, Illinois. The 7th grade girls consisting of Alyssa Vogt, Brittany Pospishill, Asia Brown, Kyndall Wallace and 6th graders Ololade Ayoola and Sidney Bloomfield had the best showing ever in Tiger history placing 8th overall.

Alyssa Vogt placed 10th in the 1600 and 4th in the 800. 5:53.81 and 2:27.46, respectively are new school records.

Britany Pospishill placed 10th in the Discus

Asia Brown placed 4th in the 100 and 4×100 along with Kyndall Wallace, Sydney Bloomfield, and Alolade Alyoola.

Emily Karl placed 10th in the 8th grade girl’s 400 with a time of 1:02.75.

Ben Christensen placed 26th in 7th grade discus.

Alex Kraft placed 16th in the 8th grade boy’s 100 and 29th in the 200.

Tommy Hamilton placed 19th in the 8th grade boy’s 400 with a time of 56.16

Joe McNulty brought home a second place medal in the discus with a throw of 147’10”.
