Haley Kroll and Jannell Hadnot each won three events, making up more than half of Tokay’s event victories in their 87-45 Tri-City Athletic League victory on Wednesday.
Kroll was the distance queen, taking the 1,600-meter run in 5 minutes, 50 seconds, the 3,200 in 12:02 and the 800 in 2:37.87. Hadnot sprinted to a win in the 100-meter dash in 12:69 and won the long jump by leaping 17 feet, 5 1/2 inches and the triple jump by bounding 35-4.
Also posting victories for the Tigers were Michelle Bua in the 100 hurdles (16.63), Amber Ali in the pole vault (7-0), Nicole Buzo in the high jump (5-0), Lacy Cowin in the shot put (29-2) and Tori Schallberger in the discus (82-8).
In frosh-soph action, Tokay defeated Edison 75-1.

Patrick Johnson paced the Tigers on the track and Steven Hadnot led the way in the field as both Tigers won two events to help Tokay pick up the Tri-City Athletic League victory at Tokay High on Wednesday.
Johnson won the 1,600 and 3,200 runs in times of 4:49 and 11:05.35 respectively. Hadnot took the triple jump with a 38-2 mark and topped the field in the high jump by clearing 5-10.
Jacob Gonzalez took first place in the 110 hurdles for Tokay in 16.95, Junior Rodriguez was fastest in the 300 hurdles (43.62) and Joe Alvarado raced to a win in the 800 (2:14.22). Tokay’s Zane Schallberger went highest in the pole vault with a winning vault of 12 feet and Kostas Parisis had the farthest throw in the discus at 113-10.
