Squalicum alum Bronwyn Crossman won the women's 5,000 meters at the Pepsi Team Invitational on Saturday, April 9, at Eugene, Ore.
Crossman, who is a junior at the University of Oregon, turned in a time of 16 minutes, 31.42 seconds.
Her teammate Becca Friday, a Ducks sophomore out of Bellingham High School, finished third in the women's 1,500 with a time of 4:20.58, less than two seconds behind winner Jordan Hasay of Oregon. Friday's time was the seventh fastest in the nation so far this year. Click here to find out more!
Former Sehome standout Jake Riley, a senior at Stanford, finished seventh in the men's 1,500 with a personal best-time of 3:50.60.
Washington's Shayne Moore, who is a sophomore out of Blaine, finished seventh in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.85 seconds.
Oregon swept the men's and women's team titles at the event.
