Anna Rohrer of Mishawaka, Ind., and Grant Fisher of Grand Blanc, Mich., won the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships (FLCCC) Midwest Regional today. In the girls’ race, Rohrer claimed the title in 16:57. Lauren Gregory of Fort Collins, Colo., placed second in 17:27, and Maryjeanne Gilbert of Peoria, Ill., placed third in 17:29. Rohrer is the 2012 Midwest Regional Champion and 2012 FLCCC National Champion. Additional two-time national finalists include Stephanie Jenks (5thplace) of Aurora, Iowa, and Hannah Long (6thplace) of Pacific, Mo.


In the boys’ race, Fisher, the 2013 Midwest Regional Champion, defended his regional title, winning in 15:00. Jesse Hersha of Concord, Mich., placed second in 15:09, with Jesse Reiser of McHenry, Ill., finishing third in 15:09. Fisher will return to San Diego, Calif., to defend his national title. Fisher, Reiser and Thomas Pollard of Ames, Iowa, are all two-time national finalists.
