POCATELLO, Idaho With last year’s All-Idaho relays being such a great success, they will definitely be featured again at this year’s Simplot Games.

This event will again showcase the top relay teams from the state of Idaho in the boys and girls 4x200-meter relays.

“The top six Idaho teams that do not qualify to run in the Games’ overall 12 team final will be given the chance to run in the second annual All-Idaho relay competition,” says Carol Lish, Simplot Games executive director.

Overall, this event will give 48 extra Idaho athletes – 24 boys and 24 girls on six teams – a chance to run at least one more time for something that counts. And with over 25 Idaho teams that come to Simplot Games every year the battle to be the best will be tough.

“The All-Idaho relays provide teams an opportunity to duke it out and stake their claim as the best relay teams in the state early in their track and field season,” adds Lish.

The All-Idaho relays could feature athletes from some of the best track and field teams in Idaho including Century Track Club, Donnelley Track Club, Gate City Track Club, Indian Track Team, Portneuf Track Club, YMCA Team Idaho, and more.
