Young Runner Blogger Ciera Sesock had a short talk with hurdler Kevin Young at the Willie Davenport Olympian Clinic in Union City, CA.

Kevin was a gold medalist in the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. His time of 46.78 is still an Olympic record.

He wanted to be an NBA player growing up but discovered his running skills and walked on to the UCLA track team and set a school record of 47.72.
