The Madeira Beach Mad Dogs Kids/Youth & Mini Adult Triathlon is one of the longest running Youth/Kids Triathlons in the South and is presented in conjunction with the 25th Anniversary of the sprint triathlon on Sunday by one of the oldest & largest triathlon clubs "The St. Pete Mad Dogs Triathlon Club"

The Madeira Beach Mad Dogs Youth Triathlon is proud to be the 3rd and final race in the USAT Youth Race Series! USAT Florida Region youth triathletes will have the opportunity to participate in a 3 race series across the region. At each race, points will be assigned based upon the youth triathlete’s placement in their age group. At the conclusion of the series, the highest points earners, both boy and girl in each age group (age groups listed below) will be eligible to receive a grant of $100.00 to be used towards their expenses for participating at the USAT Youth National Championship event in San Diego California on August 8th. The grant will be provided upon proof of the athlete’s participation in the National Championship event.
