Description

The fifth annual Louisiana State Elementary and Junior High Cross Country Championships will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Brown Stadium on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus.

Boys and girls in grades K-8 are eligible to participate as an individual or as a member of their school’s team. Awards will be presented at the end of each race. Medals are awarded to the first fifteen finishers of each race, certificates awarded to the first twenty-five finishers and participation ribbons to all other finishers.

The entry fee is $5 per individual or $50 per Junior High school team (boys & girls)and $15.00 per division for Elementary schools. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday; all participants must be registered 30 minutes prior to their race time.

The sponsors for this race are BancorpSouth, Good Hope Middle School, Peak Performance Cross Country Club and the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
