Kodiak, West tops at Skyview Inv

Cook Inlet Conference teams dominated the Skyview Invitational on Saturday as the West High girls and Service High boys ran away with team titles on the Tsalteshi Trails.

After finishing as the runner-up last year, West's Letitia Luch came back to win the 5-kilometer girls race in 19 minutes, 17.4 seconds. Esther Kennedy (19:30.5) of Service placed second, followed by Chloe Ivanoff (19:45.1) of Kodiak.

On the boys' side, Kodiak claimed first and second place with Trevor Dunbar (15:38.2) and Sam Salus (15:53.6).
