Illinois Elite brings home more hardware

On the final day of AAU JO competition IL Elite earned more hardware as Torrey (Nalls), Aaliyah (Brown), and Cessily (Jones) represented the Elite family well.

Aaliyah started off the parade to the medal stand by capturing her 6th straight 100m JO Championship in a wind-aided time of 12.02 in the sub-youth girls division. Next Cessily in the youth girls division surprised a few capturing a 5th pl finish and a PR in the 100m dash running 12.12s.

In the 1/2 lap 200m dash 9y/o Torrey fresh off his gold medal 400m performance ran another PR of 28.20s to capture 4th pl in the sub-bantam boys division. Aaliyah's streak of five straight 200m JO championship titles came to a halt in the sub-youth girls section as she gave a valiant effort to capture the silver with a 24.32 effort. Cessily closed out the JO games for the Elite family by placing 7th on the medal platform where she recorded a solid 25.16s performance in the youth girls 200m dash section.

In all IL Elite performed with great effort and pride bringing home 2 National Championships and 10 medals in all. Congratulations to all of our JO medalist and qualifiers:
