Orange Rec Track heading to nationals

The Orange Recreation track and field team will send five athletes to the USATF Nationals in Omaha, Ne. July 22-27.

They are:

Latisha Robinson, 10 years old (bantam, 100 meters, 200 meters)

Clay Austin, 12 years old (midget, 80 hurdles, high jump);

Iana Amsterdam, 13 years old ( youth, triple jump, long jump)

Khalid Muhammed, 13 years old (youth, high jump)

Jashon Johnson, 14 years old (youth, high jump)

They all qualified by virtue of their top-three finishes in the Regionals in Pittsburgh, Pa.

The coach of the team is Eddie Greene
