Mission Prep junior Jordan Hasay won her third straight 3,200-meter title at the CIF-Central Section Championships at Liberty High School on Wednesday, winning by more than thirty seconds with a time of 10 minutes, 24.78 seconds.
Athletes had to battle temperatures that crept into the mid-90s. Hasay chose not to run the 1,600, opting to focus on the 3,200 in preparation for the CIF State Track and Field Championships where she will attempt to three-peat as state champion May 30-31 at Cerritos College in Norwalk.
Hasay currently holds the best time in the state with a 10:03.07.
