Pass Christian's Cory McGee posted one of the bigger wins in her running career Sunday, capturing the title in the girls mile at the 25th annual National Scholastic Indoor Championships in New York City at the New Balance Track and Field Center at the Armory.

She had a winning time of 4 minutes, 51.13 seconds.

"It was one of my biggest wins," McGee said. "This is the same race I won in the eighth grade. It was a prestigious field. It was mostly the same group I ran with at the Melrose Games."
