Chaminade senior All-Americans Bryan Sutherland, Michael Schiek, Stephen Donnelly and Chris Tonn won the 4x1,600-meter relay Saturday at the NIKE Indoor Nationals in Landover, Md. with a time of 18.01.85.

"It was an absolutely amazing performance," said 20-year Chaminade coach Pat Slevin, who won his first national relay title. "It was these guys' goal and they got it done as seniors. That's amazing."

Westhampton junior Leah Buletti won the 1-mile walk in 7:46. She placed third in last week's state meet behind winner Olivia Lapham of Penfield (Section V). But Buletti turned the tables yesterday, edging Lapham by just under four seconds to take the title.
