Kenderick Scorza, 13, is an evacuee from New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina. When his family moved here, he was new to his school and obese-- not a good combination. But when he saw that Nickelodeon, the popular kids' cable outlet, was needing volunteers for its new reality show featuring kids needing a new, healthy lifestyle, Kenderick auditioned.

The producers loved him. For five weeks, he's been a part of the Sunday night primetime lineup, and he's lost 50 pounds.

Now his goal is the First Security Conway Kids Triathlon, August 11. He'll swim 100 yards, bike four miles and run a mile. He says it's a lifestyle he'll follow the rest of his life.

Network TV, new events everyday and thousands, if not millions, cheering him on, Kenderick is now in another hurricane, only this one is healthy.
