RECENT HIGHLIGHTS
Against a world class field, Hall ran like a veteran to finish 7th at the 2007 Flora London on April 22 and his 2 hour, 8 minute, 24 second stellar performance produced the fastest U.S. marathon debut ever. In January 2007, he set the U.S. half-marathon record of 59 minutes, 43 seconds at the Aramco Houston Half-Marathon (USA Championship) to become the first American to break one hour at the distance on a record standard course; broke U.S. 20K record at 2006 IAAF World Road Running Championships in Hungary with his 57:54 (11th overall); also won two USA titles in 2006 (12K cross country and 20K roads); 2005 NCAA 5000m champion and World Championships 5000m team; 2003 NCAA Cross Country runner-up and 6-time All-American at Stanford.

HIGH SCHOOL
At the 2000 Foot Locker Cross Country Championship, Hall finished third behind fellow phenoms Dathan Ritzenhein and Alan Webb. As a California high school senior in 2001, the two-time state cross country champion chased the sub-4 minute mile and added the state 1600 meter title – a state record 4:02.62 - to his 3200 meter state crown from 2000.

COLLEGE
In 2003, with his runner-up finish, Hall led Stanford to the NCAA Cross Country Championship. In 2005, he won the NCAA outdoor 5000 meter title in a Stanford school record 13:22.32 before finishing third in a personal record of 13:16.03 at the USA Track & Field Championships, qualifying for the IAAF World Championships in Helsinki, Finland.

Hall enjoys fly fishing and reading and is involved in his church. His parents are Mickey and Susie; has four siblings (Steve, Kasey (sister), Craig and Chad); younger brother Chad won the 2006 Foot Locker Cross Country Championship.
